Diablo IV officially goes gold with just over a month to go before the launch
The new franchise game will be released on June 6, 2023
Diablo IV achieved gold status. The highly anticipated title is the fourth installment in the genre-defining franchise and brings the dark world of Sanctuary to players once again. The information was provided by Theogames, a press office specializing in games.
“Going gold is a historic milestone for the incredible Diablo IV team, who have worked so hard to create the next-generation title in this iconic franchise. This is a critical and important step towards our launch on June 6,” commented Rod Fergusson, General Manager of Diablo.
“Whether franchise veterans or first-timers, we can't wait for everyone to experience the full game: whether it's taking part in the incredible narrative or experimenting with classes and character building, as well as exploring what the endgame and dark world are all about. of Sanctuary have to offer.”
“Going gold” is a video game industry term that marks the end of launch version development — that is, the game has taken an essential step in being delivered to players worldwide. In Diablo IV, players join the fight to save the dark, gothic world of Blessed Mother Lilith's Shrine, battling hordes of demons and monsters.

My experience with the Diablo franchise started with Diablo II in 2000, playing on my PC, and Diablo III in 2012 on a MacBook Pro. I didn't have a computer or video game in 1996, and I couldn't play the initial version of that franchise. For the same reason, I didn't play the 1997 version of Diablo: Hellfire, an expansion pack. After completing my MBA, I'm ready to return to the gaming world. I'm excited about this news. It will be a pleasure to return to the Diablo saga.
